The Echelon comic series captivates with a dynamic cast of characters woven together into a gripping, multi-faceted yarn. A great start to a promising portfolio – Chris Zappe, freelance illustrator and digital media artist.

Landon Weckerly is a very skilled comic book artist. His work is sleek and edgy and the storylines he creates reveal the real and hard truth of what it takes to do good in a messy world. His characters have both heart and depth in a world of difficulty and danger. – Michelle Pelsue, Director, Catalyst Program

BIO: Landon has always had a big imagination, its one of his defining qualities. Always drawing, watching tv, and listening to music, it seems he was addicted to artistic inspiration and the need to draw what he was imagining at any given moment, even to the chagrin of his parents and teachers. In the summer of 2005, while training with fellow college students and young adults to head to Biloxi MS to assist in the clean up efforts from the damages of Hurricane Katrina the previous summer, a good friend dubbed him “The Wrecker” after he completed his tasks much faster than the rest of the group (“He wrecked his tasks”). Finally obtaining a cool nickname, he used it as his penname to break into the industry and market his imagination and skills to the public yearning for new flavor in print and digital comics.
